1. What Nereid is
Nereid is a non-custodial automation interface for DeFi protocols on the Sui blockchain. The service composes transactions and surfaces market intelligence; it does not hold your assets, custody your keys, or guarantee outcomes.
2. Eligibility
You may use the service only if you (a) are at least 18 years old, (b) have the legal capacity to enter into contracts, and (c) are not a resident of, or accessing the service from, a jurisdiction where DeFi protocol interaction is prohibited. You are responsible for compliance with local laws including tax obligations.
3. Beta status
The service is currently offered as a closed beta. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice. Mainnet vault mutations are whitelist-gated; market intelligence is open. Beta software carries elevated risk of bugs, downtime, and incident-driven feature flags.
4. Your wallet, your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, seed phrases, and API tokens. Nereid never stores or requests your seed phrase. Lost keys, leaked tokens, or unauthorized transactions signed from your device are not recoverable by us.
5. DeFi risk
Decentralized finance involves substantial risk. Smart contracts may contain bugs. Oracle prices may be manipulated or stale. Liquidity may evaporate. Impermanent loss on LP positions can exceed accumulated fees. Lending APYs are not guaranteed. Only deploy capital you can afford to lose; do not deploy borrowed funds.
6. No financial advice
Nothing on the service — including AI-suggested parameters, market digests, scenario projections, or workflow recommendations — constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. AI outputs are probabilistic and may be wrong. You are the sole decision-maker for any capital deployment.
7. Fees
Nereid charges a workflow-execution fee shown transparently before every transaction. Underlying protocol fees and Sui gas costs are charged independently and shown in the same summary. No subscription or seat fees during beta.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) attempt to compromise the service or its users, (b) reverse-engineer the contract beyond what is required to interact with it, (c) use the service to launder funds or evade sanctions, (d) impersonate Nereid in any communication, (e) abuse API tokens beyond their declared scope and daily cap.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nereid is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including loss of funds, missed opportunities, or downtime.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via the in-app banner and on @NereidFinance. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
